I watched a storm chase across the high desert valley. It slowly covered the horizon, filled the sky, blanketing every butte. An unstable air system had blown over the region. Drizzling, grey, overcast sky, with periodic piercing brilliant sunbeams, had replaced the bright clear sky of only hours ago. And the rain, passing through the scattered sunbeams, trying to refresh the parched soil, cleansing, and healing. I know there’s a rainbow somewhere; but where?
An unstable system is enveloping all of us, seemingly out of our control. We are witnessing unthinkable, unacceptable, events near and far. The evil heads of fear, intolerance, and ignorance have further destabilized an already unstable system. Throwing us all into a state of seemingly uncontrolled chaos and dispair. And the tears; freely, uncontrollably, flowing, trying to cleanse and heal. So many do care, where once it was only a few. There is hope. Is this the rainbow?
Strange thing about rainbows; as long as there is sun and rain then one exists. Like courage, as long as you don’t lose it, there is hope. If you don’t see a rainbow, it doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist; so don’t lose hope. Embrace every opportunity to seize control of all you can control; starting with yourself. You want to see the rainbow? Find the right alignment. Have the courage embrace the challenge to change your orientation and start changing the world around you. Don’t leave it to someone else, and know you don’t stand alone.
